1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders, quotations, and sales made by Vintage Little Urban Pallets.
1.2 By placing an order, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2.1 All furniture and products are manufactured using second-hand or pre-owned wood unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Due to the nature of reclaimed wood, variations in colour, texture, markings, knots, and imperfections may occur. These characteristics form part of the product’s unique appearance.
2.3 All wood used in the products is not treated unless specifically agreed in writing.

3.1 All products are sold as inspected and accepted by the client.
3.2 The client acknowledges that the natural condition of reclaimed wood may include imperfections and accepts the product in its existing condition.

4.1 All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Full payment must be received before any product will be released or delivered to the client.
4.3 Custom orders require a 50% deposit before production will commence.
4.4 The remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery of the completed product.

4.5 If material or supply costs increase before production begins, Vintage Little Urban Pallets reserves the right to adjust the quoted price, with prior notice to the client.

6.1 Any changes to an order after confirmation may affect the final price and production lead time.
6.2 The company reserves the right to revise the quotation or delivery timeline if changes are requested.

7.1 Delivery is available within the Pretoria area.
7.2 Delivery charges are calculated per kilometre and will be confirmed with the client before delivery takes place.
7.3 Orders outside Pretoria must be collected by the client or sent via courier at the client’s own cost and risk.
7.4 Once the product has been handed over to a courier service, Vintage Little Urban Pallets accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, or delays during transport.

8.1 All products remain the property of Vintage Little Urban Pallets until full payment has been received.

9.1 Due to the natural nature of reclaimed wood, Vintage Little Urban Pallets will not be liable for natural cracking, warping, colour variation, or other characteristics that may occur over time.
9.2 The client is responsible for proper care and maintenance of the product.

10.1 Deposits paid for custom orders are non-refundable, as materials and labour are allocated specifically to the order.
10.2 If a client cancels an order after production has started, Vintage Little Urban Pallets reserves the right to retain the full deposit and recover any additional costs incurred.
10.3 Orders may only be cancelled in writing before production begins.

11.1 Clients will be notified once their order is completed.
11.2 Products must be collected or delivery arranged within 7 days after notification.
11.3 If the order is not collected within this period, a storage fee may be charged per day or per week until the item is collected or delivered.

12.1 As the wood used in our products is not treated, proper care is required to maintain its condition.
12.2 Furniture should be kept indoors or in a covered area away from excessive moisture, rain, or direct sunlight.
12.3 Clients may choose to apply wood oil, varnish, sealant, or protective treatment after purchase to protect the wood.
12.4 Vintage Little Urban Pallets will not be liable for damage caused by exposure to weather, moisture, or improper care.
